What S1M TRIALSEEK does — and doesn't — do with what you type.

No account, no identity
There is no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or date of birth. Nothing you search is tied to an identity, because we don't have one for you.
Symptom-to-medical mapping
When you click Translate, the text you typed is sent to a language model (through the Lovable AI gateway) so it can be mapped to standardized condition terms. The request carries the text itself and nothing else — no cookie, no user ID, no IP-based profile that we attach or persist. We do not log prompts or model outputs alongside any identifier, and we do not retain them for model improvement. The request is processed and discarded. Model providers may have their own transient processing logs governed by their terms.
ClinicalTrials.gov queries
The trial search itself goes directly from your browser to ClinicalTrials.gov's public API. Those queries don't pass through our servers at all.
Saved trials stay on your device
Save is a browser feature: your list of NCT numbers lives in your browser's localStorage and never leaves it. Clear site data, switch browsers, or open a private window and the list is gone. There is no cloud copy.
No ad or analytics SDKs on symptom screens
No Meta Pixel, no Google Ads conversion tracking, no third-party analytics scripts run on any screen where you enter symptom or condition text. This is a design rule, not a setting we might change later.
Deletion
Because we don't store identity-linked health text, there is nothing account-shaped to delete. To clear saved trials, use the Remove button on the Saved page, or clear this site's data in your browser.
Not medical advice
S1M TRIALSEEK surfaces public registry information. Always consult a licensed clinician before enrolling in a study or changing treatment.
